"You never quit on your music. No matter what happens. Cuz anytime something bad happens to you, that's the one place you can escape to and just let it go."
I detested the Bronx and the cultural product it provided. Two films will do "The Pawnbroker" with Jaime Sanchez/Rod Steiger.
"The Fort Apache the Bronx", a ridiculous film with Paul Newman, and the improbable romance with some Puerorican female.
However the Fort Apache Band, a weird jazz group was cool...
I still think that Washington Heights for some reason is more sophisticated and refined than anyplace in the Bronx, even though I still live in Puerorico. Much worse than the Bronx was the far behind Barrio, in the East Side of Manhattan what a dump.
Forgive me lord for being honest. Have you watched any black/white old films? It is necessary if one is going to argue about films, quality, acting, photography and so on.
The movies that are featured here are movies that have touched me personally. For them to be considered GREAT by me they have to be both entertaining and inspirational. Some of them have a generalized inspiration and others are more subjective; something that the film can suggest to a particular watcher.
This blog can be used as a reference. If you find one of these movies GREAT, there's a chance that you may also like some of the others. There's also the good movies by genre lists below which some of you may find equally good or even better than the featured ones.
This blog does not describe the movies or reflects on them because the purpose for them are to be watched, enjoyed, experienced in their utmost capacity.
Handpick and enjoy!

Until then.
Well, this is not really a blog about the best movies ever. It's about the movies I have seen that I find inspirational.
Greetings.
